CHICAGO — For a large, crowded metropolis full of skyscrapers, Chicago sure has a lot of non-human residents trying to make their way in the big city.

Chicago's domestic pets, wildlife and zoo animals are as varied as the city's two-legged residents, some with more personality than others.

We've chronicled many of their stories over the years on our Urban Animals page (where you can also sign up to receive our weekly Urban Animals newsletter) but some of our human readers might be left wondering just where they fit in in the animal kingdom.

Wonder no more! Take our eight-question quiz to find out your Chicago spirit animal:

Our results are based on some of our favorite Urban Animal headliners:

Maybe you like to find the party like boisterous instigator Sasha the Liquor Store Cockatoo. You're a bit of a bar-hopper, but you just want to dance!

Sometimes you need a weekend in, though. If you're like a city coyote, you keep to yourself, and when it's time to explore, you've got the street smarts to make it on your own.

But everyone needs friends! Especially those similar to Josh the Pitbull, a relentlessly positive dog who can roll with the punches and never tires of meeting new people.

Maybe you're the natural center of attention like Luna, the otter pup star of the Shedd Aquarium. Let's face it — you deserve it. You're a super talented athlete (basketball, anyone?) and you're just too cute for words.

But maybe you're not celebrated as much as you should be. You're a great friend and have good ideas, but you're just misunderstood, like the Fancy Rat.
