CHICAGO — If you're looking for something to do after the Blackhawks rally at Soldier Field, some city institutions are offering specials pegged to the team's Stanley Cup Championship.
The parade begins at 10 a.m. Thursday at Monroe and Jefferson streets, running along Monroe to Michigan Avenue. Then the crowds will spill into Soldier Field for a free, ticketed rally.
Here's a look at the Blackhawks-inspired specials you can enjoy afterward:
CHICAGO WHITE SOX
The Sox are offering $15 tickets to fans wearing Chicago Blackhawks apparel at Thursday’s game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. First pitch is at 7:10 p.m.
Fans sporting Blackhawks gear can buy their discounted tickets at all U.S. Cellular Field ticket windows.
SHEDD AQUARIUM
After the rally, all fans who stop at the Shedd in their Blackhawks threads can buy one Total Experience Pass and get another one free.
The Total Experience Pass allows you to explore everything inside the aquarium — even the new Amphibians exhibit. The pass costs $39.95 for adults and $30.95 for children ages 3-11.
