PORTAGE PARK — There will be no excuse for your dirty car after June 27.

Teens from St. Robert Bellarmine Church will host a car wash from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 27 in the church's parking lot, 4646 N. Austin Ave., to raise money for a community service project in some of Chicago's poorest neighborhoods.

The St. Robert Bellarmine Teen Club is hoping to raise $1,500 for the three-day project, youth minister Beth Farias said.

"Every dollar that we can raise will help," Farias said.
