CHICAGO — Two men were fatally shot in Austin early Sunday morning, police said.

Around 3:50 a.m., two 19-year-old men were in a car in the 1600 block of North Cicero Avenue, when a light-colored vehicle pulled alongside and someone inside fired shots, said Officer Stacey Cooper, a Chicago Police spokesman.

One men was shot in his head and the other was shot several times. Both men were taken to John H. Stroger Hospital in critical condition and later pronounced dead, Cooper said.

Richard Rodriguez, whose address was unknown, was pronounced dead at 4:38 a.m. Sunday. Jossean Rueda, of the 1100 block of North Harding Avenue, was pronounced dead at 4:33 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

No one is custody, and police are investigating.
