PULLMAN — A 34-year-old man was shot dead in Pullman Friday evening, police said.
Around 6:07 p.m. Laurance Boyd was sitting in a parked car on the 1300 block of West 122nd Street when an unknown offender walked up and fired shots before fleeing eastbound, officials said.
Boyd, of 12700 South May Street in Calumet Park, was shot twice in his back before being taken to Christ Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 8:34 p.m., officials said.
According to police, Boyd was a documented gang member.
