THIS IS STATE AND LAKE — The voice actor behind the CTA's bus and train announcements drives everywhere.

So we bought him a Ventra card.

Lee Crooks — who, to be fair, lives in Milwaukee — agreed to take a trip around the Loop on the "L" with us, all while performing Chicago-inspired dramatic readings in his official CTA voice.

We rounded up some iconic Chicago lines: Blues Brothers, Blago, Da Bears and more.
