WICKER PARK — A Wicker Park group will pay homage to the late Robin Williams this summer by screening six films outdoors starring the beloved actor.

The series, presented by the Wicker Park Advisory Council, will kick off with "Night at the Museum" Thursday, June 18 at Wicker Park, 1425 N. Damen Ave.

The movies will be free and begin at 9 p.m. on select Thursday nights through Sept. 3. The films are part of the citywide Movies in the Parks series.

"Each year we try to create a theme that is whimsical, yet familiar, drawing inspiration from the people and events that shape our community," said Tim Kolecke, who chairs the council's movies in the parks committee.  "Robin Williams touched the imagination of everyone who saw his movies."

The council will sell snow cones at the movie nights, with free tea samples from David's Tea and free glow sticks also included in the program. Here's the full schedule:

•Thur., June 18: "Night at the Museum"

•Thurs., July 9: "Mrs. Doubtfire"

•Thurs., July 30: "Hook"

•Thurs., Aug. 20: "Jumanji"

•Thurs., Aug 27: "Dead Poets Society"

•Thurs., Sept. 3: "The Final Cut"
