BRIDGEPORT — Ald. Patrick Daley Thompson (11th) has launched a new website loaded with a service request feature so you can report problems in the neighborhood.

If you're an 11th Ward resident, that means you can hop on to the site and let the alderman know when you want a tree removed, a streetlight replaced or a pothole filled.

The site's service request page features a drop-down box filled with options extending to rodent problems, sewer cave-ins, street cleaning and more.

To submit a request, a residents must provide a name, address, phone number and description of the problem. There's even an "Upload a photo" option that allows you to send pictures of the problem right to the alderman's office.

"I'm excited about the new site, because I know 11th Ward residents will find it convenient and easy to use," Thompson said. "It's part of a larger effort by my office to modernize the way we deliver services. This allows our staff to be more efficient providing services to our neighbors. Whether you need a tree trimmed, a sidewalk fixed, or something else, our office is ready to make it happen."

The site's launch represents one of Thompson's first initiatives as alderman since he was elected earlier this year.
