BRIDGEPORT — Saturday will be your chance to snag a free rowing lesson on the Chicago River in celebration of National Learn To Row Day.

Show up at the shore of the South Branch of the Chicago River at 2850 S. Eleanor St. between 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, and you’ll get a free rowing lesson sponsored by non-profit group Recovery on Water.

If you plan to attend, wear athletic gear and bring a water bottle.
