CHICAGO — Now that the Chicago Riverwalk is getting spiffed up enough to visit more than once a year for St. Paddy's, let's take a look at what visitors and Chicagoans have to say about it.

For this week's edition of "Chicago, Reviewed," the Riverwalk earned four stars out of five based on 20 reviews.

All reviews credited to Yelp, and may be partial.

Random weather, random children: Chicago.

Appreciate what you're trying to do here, but those memories have not been "relegated to the scrap heap" but dredged up anew in a "fiasco" of a river pyrotechnics show.

Not bad, for a riverwalk. When the renovations are done, it's projected to be even more clean, scenic, and made for walking/sitting.

Rats are gonna rat, especially next to water sources. Deal with it!

A great place for a date especially now that there's a new tiki bar.

"A closer look" means a closer smell.

The weather's finally staying nice, so take it all in, Chicago!
