Which CTA Behavior is the Worst? Poll Results Show Chicagoans Care

CHICAGO — In light of the new CTA ad campaign shaming rude riders, we asked readers what do they think is the rudest behavior on trains and buses?

The worst? Not yielding priority seats for senior citizens, pregnant women and the disabled. Of poll respondents, 19.4 percent said that was the worst.

The second most annoying? Talking loudly on the phone (12.5 percent).

Other top irritants were: People trying to get on the train before letting people off (12 percent); playing loud music (11.7 percent) and placing bags on seats (10.8 percent).
