CHICAGO — Carlos F. Marino has been identified as the 34-year-old man who was fatally shot in Wicker Park early Saturday, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner.

At 1:45 a.m. Marino, who lived in the same block he was shot in, was sitting outside on the front porch with two other men in the 1700 block of West Pierce Avenue, when someone walked up and fired multiple shots, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

He was shot in his chest and shoulder and taken to John H. Stroger Hospital where he was later pronounced dead, Estrada said.
