CHICAGO — A man who died after being shot in Bridgeport Thursday has been identified, officials said.

Around 11:30 p.m., two men, ages 22 and 19, were found shot in an alley in the 1300 block of West 31st Place, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

Both men were taken to Stroger Hospital. The 22-year-old was shot in his head and was listed in critical condition. The 19-year-old was shot in his abdomen and listed in fair condition, Sedevic said.

Eric Magana, 22, of Calumet City, was pronounced dead at 5:33 p.m. at the hospital, the Cook County Medical Examiner's office said.

Police said the incident was drug-related.

Kay Kong, 35, of the 3400 block of South Wood Street, was arrested and charged Friday with murder for killing Magana, authorities said.
