CHICAGO — A man was shot and killed Wednesday morning in Chicago Lawn, police said.
Around 11:45 a.m., the man was shot in the chest in the 6300 block of South Bell Avenue, said Officer Stacey Cooper, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
Terrion Mitchell, 23, whose home address was unknown, was pronounced dead at the scene around 11:56 a.m., the Cook County Medical Examiner's office said.
Mitchell died from multiple gunshot wounds and his death was ruled a homicide, the Medical Examiner's office said.
