CHICAGO — It may be just 50 degrees out, but it's already fireworks season.

Navy Pier on Wednesday is kicking off the fireworks season with a pre-season show to celebrate the upcoming Memorial Day weekend.

The fireworks will begin at 9:30 p.m. at Navy Pier. Pier officials are encouraging people to share photos with the hashtag SummerStartsNow.

Navy Pier says the fireworks displays are now called the Aon Summer Fireworks.

Fireworks will be shot off at 9:30 p.m. every Wednesday and 10:15 p.m. every Saturday until Labor Day.
