CHICAGO — Police issued a warning after two delivery drivers were robbed at gunpoint in Portage Park and Norwood Park.

In each incident, the drivers were making a food delivery when they were approached by a group of men who robbed them before running away, police said in a statement.

The most recent incident happened on Sunday at 1:50 a.m. in the 4900 block of North Normandy Avenue. The other incident occurred April 25 at 1:22 a.m. in the 4100 block of North Marmora Avenue, police said.

During Sunday's incident, the delivery driver was approached by up to five men wearing dark sweatshirts and bandanas. In the other robbery, the driver was approached by three men. One of the men was described as Hispanic between 18 to 25 years old, 5-foot-8 and 150 to 180 pounds.
