CHICAGO — If you're looking to to spring clean your closet, now's the time.

Uber drivers in Chicago will take your clothes to Goodwill for free on Saturday.

Between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday, Chicagoans can open the Uber app and select "give" to call an SUV to their place to pick up bagged clothing.

Those donating clothing must be able to take it out to the driver, and the service will be in high demand, so donors should be patient, Uber warns.

Donations are tax deductible, and Uber will email a receipt the week of May 4, according to the company.

If you're spring cleaning more than your closet, you'll have to take items besides clothes to your nearest donation center yourself. Find locations here and learn what items are accepted here.
