HYDE PARK — The 61st Street Farmers Market is searching for volunteers as Saturday market prepares to move back outside in May.

The market will hold a training session for new volunteers at 5:30 p.m. May 5 at Experimental Station, 6100 S. Blackstone Ave.

Those interested can sign up to volunteer at experimentalstation.org/volunteer or simply show up on May 5.

The market ran once-a-month through the winter at Experimental Station, but will resume its weekly Saturday markets on May 16 outdoors in front of the Experimental Station on 61st Street.
