Man Hospitalized After Englewood Shooting

CHICAGO — A 44-year-old man was shot Monday afternoon in Englewood.

Around 4:30 p.m., the man was standing in his garage in the 7100 block of South Wolcott Avenue when a man drove by and opened fire, said Officer Hector Alfaro, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The man was struck in the arm and taken to Holy Cross Hospital in good condition, Alfaro said.

No one is in custody for the shooting.
