CHICAGO — Four people were wounded in separate shootings Thursday, police said.
In the most recent shooting, two people were shot in Ashburn.
About 12:35 p.m., two males, ages unavailable, walked into Advocate Christ Medical Center after being shot in the 2900 block of 85th Street, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago police spokeswoman, citing preliminary information.
One victim had a gunshot wound to his back and the other was shot in his arm, Sedevic said.
Their conditions were not immediately available.
Around 11:10 a.m. in West Englewood, a 17-year-old boy and a 19 year-old man were walking in the 6400 block of South Laflin Street when someone in a passing vehicle fired shots, Sedevic said.
The boy was shot in his leg, and the 19-year-old was shot in his arm. Both were taken to John H. Stroger Hospital in good condition, Sedevic said.
