CHICAGO — A 24-year-old man was shot in the face Friday afternoon in Englewood.
The man was a passenger in a car in the 1900 block of West 69th Street when an SUV pulled alongside the car at 3 p.m. and a man inside opened fire, said Officer Thomas Sweeney, a Chicago Police spokesman.
The injured man was driven to Holy Cross Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition, Sweeney said.
No one is in custody for the shooting, police said.
