WICKER PARK — It's official this time and not an April Fool's joke: Wicker Park's beloved Beachwood Inn is really closing in just two weeks.

"The last days of the Beachwood Inn as you know it, are here. The ending date is April 14th. I'm gonna miss the place and all of you," wrote bartender Brian Page on his Facebook page.

Last week the bar updated its Facebook Page with a photo of its staff and friends of the bar, at 1415 N. Wood St.

Today, the bar posted on Facebook: "Well it's not a secret that this has been coming, but it has been a long time coming. Months after it came out that the Beachwood Inn was selling, the closing date has been set. Of course, with the way this has gone, who knows. We have 13 days left as the venerable Beachwood Inn, after that she will change hands. So be sure and stop by to say your farewells to the old girl and share stories of your time there...Jim and Bob would like to thank all who have loved her as much as they do for their love and support. All good things must come to an end and this is but one of many for all of us. Peace, Love, and Rock 'n' Roll. Yours Forever, BEACHWOOD!!!"
