CHICAGO — A man was hospitalized after being wounded in a drive-by shooting Thursday morning in Bronzeville, police said.
At 8:25 p.m., the 37-year-old man was shot in the back during a drive-by in the 4600 block of South Evans Avenue, said Officer Michael Sullivan, a Chicago Police spokesman.
The man, whose condition was unknown, was taken to Stroger Hospital, Sullivan said.
No one is in custody, and police are investigating.
