CHICAGO — Two teenagers were wounded in separate Bronzeville shootings Monday evening, police said.

At 7:30 p.m., a 17-year-old boy was in the 3800 block of South Michigan Avenue when he was shot in his right leg, said Officer Bari Lemmon, a Chicago police spokeswoman.

He was taken to Northwestern Hospital where his condition had stabilized, Lemmon said.

More than an hour earlier, at 6:15 p.m., a 17-year-old boy was in the 3700 block of South Wabash Avenue when he was shot in his leg and abdomen, Lemmon said

He was taken to Mercy Hospital and Medical Center, where his condition had stabilized, Lemmon said.

No other information was immediately available.
