CHICAGO — A man was hospitalized after being shot in Lawndale Sunday afternoon, police said.
At 1:20 p.m., a 46-year-old man was shot in his cheek and leg in the 700 block of South Kenneth Avenue, said Officer Veejay Zala, a Chicago police spokesman.
He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition had stabilized, Zala said.
