CHICAGO — Just when we thought winter weather was behind us, snow is predicted to make an early Spring appearance Sunday night.

Throughout the day, temperatures are expected in the high 40s with mostly cloudy skies, said Bill Nelson, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service.

Into the evening hours, temperatures will start to dip and we will see a slight chance of snow, Nelson said.

The chance of snow will increase overnight and into Monday morning where we can expect up to one inch of snow, and as well as some rain, Nelson said.

Temperatures will hover in the mid-30's Monday but are expected to warm up into the upper 50s by Wednesday, Nelson.
