ROGERS PARK — Pita Pit and BMO Harris bank have officially opened in Loyola University's new building on Sheridan Road.
The development at 6558 N. Sheridan Road was part of Loyola's and the Chicago Transit Authority's revamp of the Loyola "L" station.
Pita Pit officials had said the new restaurant franchise would open earlier, but plans were delayed.
Loyola is still seeking a tenant for the building's main unit.
A McDonald's and BMO Harris branch occupied a one-story building in the same area before it was torn down in 2011 to make way for Loyola's development.
