CHICAGO — Police are looking for a driver involved in a hit-and run accident that left a woman critically injured in Dunning.

On Feb. 24 at 6:25 p.m., a 55-year-old woman was hit by a car while crossing the street in the 3400 block of North Harlem Avenue, Chicago Police said in a statement.

After striking the woman, the driver left the scene. The woman was taken to an area hospital and listed in critical condition, police said.

At the scene, police recovered parts of the blue, green, pearl-metallic colored 2000 or 2001 Toyota Camry.

Police said the passenger side headlight and passenger side front door were expected to be damaged.
