
CHICAGO— A Metra train was delayed after "pedestrian incident" in South Shore, Metra officials said.
After 1 a.m., train No. 353 was delayed after it struck a vehicle near 71st Street and Clyde Avenue early Sunday, said Meg Riley, a Metra spokeswoman.
The vehicle drove off after being hit, Riley said.
No one was harmed in the incident but there was minor damage to the train and the intersection, Riley said.
Police had not been notified of the incident.
