MAGGIE DALEY PARK — It may not feel like it, but the end is nigh for Chicago's outdoor skating season.

Although winter feels far from over, most Chicago Park District ice rinks will close after Sunday. The popular new ice ribbon at Maggie Daley Park, 337 E. Randolph St., will close a week later, after March 8 — as will the rink at Millennium Park.

The park district choose not to extend the season, as it did last year.

Some private ice rinks, like the one at Parson's Chicken & Fish in Logan Square, will remain open a little further into March, and Chicagoans can continue to skate indoors at McFetridge Sports Center, 3843 N. California Ave.

Earlier this month, DNAinfo detailed the city's skating venues. Check out the map below to find one closest to you.
