River North Residents, Pick Your Flicks in the Park for Summer

RIVER NORTH — Some day, the snow will melt and movies will be screened outside once again in Chicago.

The River North Residents Association is asking neighbors to vote for the films they want to see at the riverfront Montgomery Ward Park this summer for its annual "Movies in the Park" series. 

The RNRA has hosted movies at the park, 630 N. Kingsbury St., since 2006. The association has yet to finalize dates with the Chicago Park District, but wants to begin the series around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 16. The RNRA would show six movies, screening one film every other week on Tuesday nights.

Voting ends March 12. Take the survey here. Here are the candidates:
