Bridgeport Alliance
CHICAGO — The Bridgeport Alliance will discuss the 31st Street bus campaign during a general meeting Thursday night.
The meeting will be held at First Lutheran Church of the Trinity, 643 W. 31st St., at 7 p.m.
During the meeting, the group will discuss its campaign to bring back the 31st Street bus. The Rev. Tom Gaulke will discuss progress and the next steps for the campaign. In addition, the group will discuss follow-up meetings with elected officials to try to bring the bus back.
The meeting will also address other long-term community concerns, and how to involve the next alderman.
