CHICAGO— A teenager was shot Monday in Roseland, police said.

A 16-year-old boy walked into St. Bernard Hospital with a gunshot wound in the lower left leg, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The shooting occurred around 6:40 p.m. while the boy was walking near 101st Street and Lafayette Avenue, Sedevic said.

No one is in custody, police are investigating.
