CHICAGO — Two teenagers were injured during a shooting in the Back of the Yards neighborhood Sunday morning, police said.
The shooting occurred around 9 a.m. in the 4700 block of South Loomis Street, said police, citing preliminary reports. During the incident, a 15-year-old girl sustained a gushot wound to the hand, and a 17-year-old boy was grazed by a bullet in the forehead.
Both teens were taken to Stroger Hospital. Police did not know their conditions, but say they had stabilized.
Details on the circumstances surrounding the shooting were not immediately known.
