Loyola University Plans Pregnancy Support Group Events

ROGERS PARK — Loyola University's Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing plans to start two support groups for pregnant women in Rogers Park.

A group meeting on Fridays begins Feb. 27 and will meet each Friday though April 17 from 10-11:30 a.m. at the Howard Area Family Center, 7510 N. Ashland Ave.

Another group meeting on Mondays begins March 9 and will meet each Monday through April 20 from 1:30-3 p.m. at the Heartland Health Center, 1300 W. Devon Ave.

Nursing students, dietetic interns and exercise science students will be facilitating the groups and discussing a variety of topics about pregnancy and newborn care.
