MUSEUM CAMPUS — The Field Museum is running a "Free February" promotion for Illinoisans.

The natural history museum at 1400 S. Lake Shore Drive is offering free basic admission to Illinois residents through the end of the month. The promotion applies to most of the museum's permanent exhibits, including Sue The T-Rex and "Inside Ancient Egypt."

The free passes represent a savings of $62 for a family of four, the museum said. All-access passes to exhibits including "Vodou: Sacred Powers of Haiti" will also be discounted, to $18 for adults, $15 for senior citizens and students, and $13 for children ages 3-11.

Field is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Check out the museum's website for more information.
