CHICAGO — A looming snowstorm already pegged by New York Mayor Bill de Blasio as one of the largest in the city's history has caused hundreds of flight cancelations at Chicago's airports
Forecasters are predicting somewhere between 1½ and 2 feet of snow beginning Monday afternoon in New York.
As of 7:30 a.m. Monday, more than 150 flights had been canceled at O'Hare International Airport, "some of those canceled proactively due to East Coast weather," according to the Department of Aviation.
Less than a dozen flights were canceled at Midway International Airport and neither airports were experiencing delays, the department said.
