Auburn Gresham Man Held on $400,000 Bond in Englewood Shooting

COOK COUNTY CRIMINAL COURTHOUSE — An Auburn Gresham man accused of shooting a 28-year-old man earlier this month was held on $400,000 bail Friday.

Derrick Moore Jr., 27, of the 8300 block of South Wood Street, was charged this week with felony aggravated battery.

Police said Moore shot a 28-year-old man multiple times in the 6900 block of South Justine Street around 11 a.m. on Jan. 14. The victim was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in serious condition. No further details were available.

During a brief bond hearing Friday, Cook County Judge Laura Sullivan ordered Moore held in lieu of $400,000 bond.
