CHICAGO — Four people were injured, including a 13-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl, in a fight involving a knife at Bond Elementary School in Englewood Tuesday afternoon.

The fight occurred around 4:20 p.m. at Bond Elementary School, 7050 S. May St., according to Officer Veejay Zala, a Chicago police spokesman.

Chicago police officers responded to a call of a fight that broke out after school had been dismissed, Zala said. Upon arrival, officers found a Chicago Public Schools security guard, who had been stabbed by a girl, he said.

A boy, 13, and a girl, 15, who intervened in the fight, also suffered from injuries, Zala said.

And a school administrator suffered a head injury, he added.

The victims had injuries that were considered "superficial in nature," Zala said. All of the victims except the school administrator were transported to St. Bernard Hospital in good condition, he said. The administrator self-transported to an area hospital.

Police said no one is in custody, and an investigation is ongoing.
