CHICAGO — Two men were wounded in separate shootings on the South and West Sides Monday, police said.

In South Deering at 3:15 p.m., a 58-year-old man suffered a grazed wound to the head in the 10700 block of South Hoxie Avenue, said Officer Bari Lemmon, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

He was taken to Advocate Trinity Hospital, where his condition stabilized, Lemon said.

Several hours earlier at 11:30 a.m. in Humboldt Park, a 35-year-old man was driving eastbound in the 3400 block of West Chicago Avenue when the shooting occurred, Lemmon said.

The man suffered a graze wound to his torso and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, Lemmon said.
