CHICAGO — A 24-year-old man was fatally shot Wednesday in Ashburn.
Around 5:22 p.m., Terrence Harris was walking through a gangway in the 8100 block of South Artesian Avenue when he was approached by two men who opened fire, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police Department spokesman.
Harris, of the 9200 block of South Elizabeth Avenue, was shot multiple times in his upper body and was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:28 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
No one is in custody for the shooting.
