CHICAGO — A 16-year-old boy was fatally shot Tuesday night in Bronzeville.

Around 9:50 p.m., the boy was walking through a vacant lot in the 300 block of East Pershing Road when two men walked up and opened fire, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The teen was struck multiple times in his stomach, chest and leg. He was taken to Northwestern Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Pacheco said.

Terrell Campbell, of the 8800 block of South Wabash Avenue, was pronounced dead at 10:10 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

No one is in custody for the shooting, which appears to be gang related, Pacheco said.
