CHICAGO — A 24-year-old man was fatally shot in Burnside Monday night.

Around 11:40 p.m., Larry Edwards was parked in the 9300 block of South Burnside Avenue when someone began shooting from an alley, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The victim was taken to Advocate Christ Hospital, where he was pronounced dead after being shot multiple times, Sedevic said.
