CHICAGO — A 54-year-old woman was killed during a domestic-related incident Monday night, police said.
Around 9:44 p.m., the woman was stabbed in her chest in the 3500 block of West 77th Place, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, Sedevic said.
She was identified as Damita Collins, of the same block. She was pronounced dead at 10:11 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
No one is in custody for her death, Sedevic said.
