CHICAGO — A man was found fatally shot on the North Side Saturday morning, police said.
The man, whose age was unavailable, was found unresponsive in an alley in the 5700 block of North Campbell Avenue in West Ridge about 5 a.m., said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
No one is in custody for the shooting, Sedevic said.
The victim was identified as 18-year-old Danial Zaffar, the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office said. Officials there did not know his home address. Zaffar was pronounced dead on the scene at 5:12 a.m. An autopsy determined he died of multiple gunshot wounds.
