CHICAGO — A 28-year-old man was wounded Monday night in a shooting in Auburn Gresham.

Around 6:20 p.m., the man was in a car in the 2100 block of West 83rd Street when a man walked up to the car and opened fire, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police Department spokeswoman.

The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn after being shot in the nose and arm. He was listed in stable condition, Sedevic said.

No one is in custody for the shooting, Sedevic said.
