Man Wanted After Robbing Bank in River North, Police Say

CHICAGO — A man is wanted for robbing a Bank of America Friday in River North, police said.

At 5:38 p.m., a man walked into a bank in the 500 block of North LaSalle Street and demanded money, said Officer Thomas Sweeney, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The man implied he had a gun, but no weapon was seen by workers at the bank. The man fled with an unknown amount of cash, Sweeney said.

According to BanditTracker.com, the robber was described as a black man, approximately 4-foot-10, and between 25 and 30 years old.

No one is in custody, and no injuries were reported.
