CHICAGO — A 40-year-old man was shot Sunday night in a lounge in Chatham.
Around 2 a.m., the man was in the lounge in the 7600 block of South Cottage Grove when another man entered from the back and opened fire, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition after being shot in his abdomen, Sedevic said.
No one is in custody for the shooting.
