CHICAGO — At least four people were wounded in shootings on the South and West sides, including one on the Stevenson Expressway Saturday night, police said.

In Englewood, at 1:30 a.m., a woman was sitting in the passenger seat of a vehicle near 66th and Halsted streets when two men walked out of an alley and fired shots, said Officer Hector Alfaro, a Chicago police spokesman.

The woman was shot in her right forearm and was transported to Stroger Hospital, where her condition had stabilized, Alfaro said.

No one is in custody, and Area South detectives are investigating.

At 11:05 p.m. Saturday, in Hermosa, a man, 20, was standing in the 2000 block of North Kilbourn Avenue when someone walked up and opened fire, Alfaro said.

The man was shot in his left foot. He was taken to Our Lady of Resurrection Medical Center where his condition had stabilized, Alfaro said.

According to police the man is a documented gang member.

In South Austin, a 39-year-old man was sitting in his car in the 100 block of North Leclaire Avenue about 9:05 p.m. when two unknown men walked up and demanded money, Alfaro said.

He complied and then one of the men opened fire, striking the man in his arm and leg. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition had stabilized, Alfaro said.

No one is in custody and Area North detectives are investigating.

Around the same time, a person was shot near the Central Avenue exit on the Stevenson Expressway,  Illinois State Police said.
