UKRAINIAN VILLAGE — A fashion show featuring three designers whose clothing will be modeled on a runway is headed to the Ukrainian Cultural Center Sunday, which is expecting a crowd of several hundred.
The second annual Ukrainian Fashion Show takes place at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Ukrainian Cultural Center, 2247 W. Chicago
Tickers are $35; a portion of proceeds will be donated to the nearby St. Nicholas Cathedral School.
Svitlana Ivanyshyn-Ugryna, one of the shows's coordinators, said that there will be translators to describe the fashions, since there will be a "mixed audience" with non-Ukrainian speakers.
A flier for the event promises, "an amazing show, a lot of fun and excitement, unforgettable experience and new ideas for your own style."
